Charity is a Part of Christianity

I am not an atheist. Still, I am not someone who goes to church at all, although I was raised in the church. My problem with this severe embrace of religion is that for one thing people are clinging to “so called words” that were interpreted and then written down by “man.” Therefore, how do you know if what you read is even the correct interpretation? In addition, according to the interpreters, God created every one in his own image. So did he not create the gay, lesbian, Black, Jews, Muslin, White transgender and others alike, in his own image? These religious zealots who spout off so much disdain against their fellow human are neither true Christians, nor do they even begin to understand Christianity. Being against issues such as abortion is one thing, (and I do not know that the bible speaks to that specifically… isn’t the word abortion man-made?) but rejecting the part about charity is quite another. The Bible tells you to love one another and for a true Christian that should be unconditional for everyone. For Kim Davis to have the gall to think that she on her own could enforce the misguided religious beliefs of others against another human, is disgracefully uncharitable. The “man created book” does not teach you to hate it teaches you to love “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity,” King James Version, 1 Corinthians 13:13.
